It is safe to say that Mario's original 1981 rookie Menko card is quickly gaining traction in the card collecting community. Due to how these cards were played with, combined with only limited quantities produced by Amada, graded examples are commanding high prices. Even raw cards are commanding high prices, that's if you are lucky enough to stumble across a listing. Listings on these 1981's rarely pop up, and when they do, the listing doesn't last long.
